Any male person 16 years and upwards & a practicing Catholic can join the Order.
There are approx. 250 Councils (Groups) attached to Parishes nationwide.
They are found throughout Scotland, England & Wales. Indeed there are Councils on the Isle of Man and in the Channel islands.

A point of contact is the Parish Priest in your local church. He will be able to put you in contact with the local Council, Grand Knight (Chairman).

 

The Order is continually seeking new members, to continue the work of the lay apostolate.

The Order’s work are varied, Catholic teachings,Spirtuality & Welfare,Action,Youth & Social

The Order of the Knights of St Columba was originated in Glasgow over 90 years ago.
They were set up on the 3 principles of “Charity, Unity & Fraternity”.

The Order is dedicated to support of the Catholic Hierarchy & Clergy. The Order has its own appointed Bishop (Ecclesiastical Advisor) by the Hierarchy’s of Scotland, England & Wales.

We look forward to you joining us, as we move forward to our centenary.
