International Alliance of Catholic Knights

Formation of I.A.C.K.

The presence of six Supreme Knights; from fraternal Orders throughout the world; at the Knights of St Columba Diamond Jubilee Supreme Council in 1979, presented the opportunity to sow seeds of greater co-operation between the various Orders. Following the Supreme Council meeting of the Knights of Da Gama, South Africa in 1980; where a constitution was drafted for endorsement by each of the fraternal Orders; the International Alliance of Catholic Knights was formed.

The Alliance now incorporates the following Orders of Catholic men, working in twenty-seven countries throughout the world:

Knights of St Columba    United Kingdom
Knights of Columbus    U.S.A. and Canada
   Knights of Peter Claver    U.S.A.
   Knights of St. Columbanus    Ireland
Knights of the Southern Cross    Australia
Knights of the Southern Cross     New Zealand
Knights of Da Gama    South Africa
Knights of Marshall    Ghana, Togo and Liberia
Fraternal Order of SS. Peter and Paul    Gambia
   Knights of St. Mulumba    Nigeria
