Our council hosts a number of council activities throughout the year. In addition to the council business meetings which are held on the 2nd Wednesday, at 7:30 pm; social activities include coffee mornings and evening events.

Activities in which the Council members participate include Praying the Rosary, Mass, National Action Project aiding the Samaritan volunteers, National Youth Prayer competition and contact with the Cenacolo Project in Kendal.

Other annual activities: Memorial Mass, Pilgrimage to Our Lady's Grotto at Cleator in West Cumbria, SPUC collections and the distribution of Christmas and Easter posters.
