Council 565 is located in Bishops Stortford and draws its membership from, and has activities embracing villages ranging from Buntingford on the A10 to the North, The Hadhams, Perry and Allens Green, Sawbridgeworth, Manuden, Little Hallingbury, Hatfield Heath and Ware. We meet at St.
Mary's Catholic School (in main reception building), Great Hadham Road, Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, every second
Thursday of the month at 8pm or following 7.30pm Mass.
Some meetings are preceded by a talk or other event, in which case the meeting may start at 8.15pm Please contact the GK for latest news of such events.
Council 565 was founded on the 15th October 1961. Our Council works closely with the Parish of St. Joseph's & The English Martyrs in Bishops Stortford and supports the clergy in the Parishes of Ware; Much Hadham & Sawbridgeworth; Old Hall Geen & Puckeridge; and Buntingford, whether by providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish or assisting the Parish Priest where we can.
